It was a fairly boring day for Kyle today, which is good. Slow and steady is what he needs, but it's hard for his impatient parents. He lost so much fluid yesterday, they intentionally pulled off less today for fear of dehydration. While he is still loosing fluid, he continues to be just as swollen (if not more so). Shiloh and I are baffled by this, (how can a 7 lb. baby loose one and a half Coke bottles of fluid since Monday and still look the same?) although the doctors don't seem too concerned.

I hope all are well who read this. We are certainly not naive enough to think that we are the only ones going through tough times. So thank you for taking time to think of us and pray for baby Kyle.

  2. Hi there, glad to hear that the boring day was a good one for Kyle!! The swelling is baffling. It is a mystery for most of us to try and understand.
We were told last night that you will be able to move back to RM House and that is great news!!
I guess your workouts need to be limited to 5 mins with these 100 degree days! We hope that you all can rest tonight and that Miss Abigail is doing great too.

Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don't be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.
You two are strong and so is baby Kyle and I pray that the Lord will grant you two the grace to be encouragers to others in your paths each day. I pray that the Lord will be merciful on Kyle's behalf as he continues to heal and as he is being weaned off the meds. and machines. May the Holy Spirit intercede in areas of concern for you two as the days grow long. Lord as you say in your word that you will never leave us or forsake us we lift up Steve, Shiloh and baby Kyle. It is in your Name we pray. Amen
    love you guys, the mcgregors

  6. Steve and Shiloh love you guys and God is Good. We are glad to here from you daily. We love your heart through all this. Some verses for encouragment and strength.

Psalm 3:5 I lay down and slept. I woke up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me.

Psalm 4:8 I will lie down in peace and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.

We are so safe in God's arms even when sleeping. We know how safe Baby Kyle is.
