Kyle continues to swell even though the nurses are pulling fluid off through the dialysis. His urine output has not been as good today as the last couple of days. At the time of this post, his eyes are swollen shut. To be honest, as the day goes on, I become more frustrated and discouraged. Please pray that we don't loose sight of Who is in control and that we wait on Him.

Please continue paging us when you pray, even if it is in the middle of the night. We are up at all hours of the day and night. The "buzz" of our pagers is what makes the day bearable and it lets us know we are not in this alone. (Information about our prayer pagers is on the left hand side of the home page)

  1. We are lifting all of you up in prayer right now. We know it is difficult, but God is in control. Stay strong, and we are praying that the doctors and nurses have the wisdom to help Kyle during this time. We love you.

  2. We continue to pray for Kyle, you, and Steve. I pray that God will give you strength each minute of each day. All things are done in God's time even when we don't want to wait. God is in control. Hold tight to your faith to get you through until you can bring this beautiful baby home.

  4. Deuteronomy 31:8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

    Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the plan I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

    What a testimony Kyle will have one day - to know and be able to say "look at the battle that God fought for ME! He created me for a purpose and now I'm here to serve Him and love Him."

    Remember that God knew Kyle long before you conceived and he knew the struggles and the triumphs that Kyle and you would undergo. He was there from the beginning and will be there forever.
    Psalm 139:13-18
    For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother's womb.
    I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
    My frame was not hidden from you
    when I was made in the secret place.
    When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
    your eyes saw my unformed body.
    All the days ordained for me were written in your book
    before one of them came to be.
    How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!
    How vast is the sum of them!
    Were I to count them,
    they would outnumber the grains of sand.
    When I awake,
    I am still with you.

    Taken from someone else's blog: "The truth is that God gives us more than we can handle all of the time. On purpose. Is He being mean? Does He care? If He’s God, why doesn’t He enter in and take the pain, and stress away? Or give us the ability to do it in our own strength? Because it is only when we cant handle it anymore that we run to Him, really run to Him… and He becomes everything we need and more."-michaellarkin.wordpress.com

    I will be praying for you all.

  6. You tell us that Yours is the dominion, O Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all. There is, then, no such thing as "just a prayer for Kyle and his." We ask, Father, that you give us to rest in Your grace.

  9. His eye is on the sparrow,
    the mountains, and the sea.
    His gaze transcends the heavens,
    yet he watches little me.

    By God's power (you) are being guarded.
    1Peter 1:5

    May the God of the universe comfort you all and know that there are many who love you and are praying daily, even if the pager does not go off. We pray for Kyle's swelling to go down and for those little kidneys to continue healing and for the vitals to stay stable. For wisdom for the caregivers and for restful sleep for all.
    In all things we ask in you might name.Amen
    GO KYLE GO!! love, the McGregors
