Kyle is 8 weeks old today, and he continues to fight. They did not pull as much fluid off today as yesterday, even though there is still some swelling. They want to take it slow over the next few days. He continues to receive milk through a feeding tube, and they have increased the amount he is getting.

We continue to be encouraged by the comments and prayers left for us on this blog. Also, it's so comforting when our prayer pagers go off. Prayer is a powerful thing!

  1. This sounds encouraging. I still pray for Kyle and for God to give both parents strength. Kyle is a real fighter. Praise to our God.

  3. Happy 8 weeks old Birthday Kyle!! It's hard to believe it's been 8 weeks. So happy to hear that the swelling is better. I pray that the milk will make him stronger.
Know you are in God's heart and on His mind every moment. Romans 8:28 In all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
From Anne Graham Lotz: But your ultimate good is conformity to the image of Jesus Christ. And when you are in God's will-"called according to his purpose"-everything God allows into your life is used by Him to make you like Christ.

Most Gracious God, we lift up Steve and Shiloh to you and Father as you guide them through these uncertain times strengthen them with your mercy and grace. Help them each moment to put on the Full armor of God to stand firm with you by their sides. Lord we ask for your healing hand to touch Kyle and to heal him as you see fit Lord and to comfort him in your loving arms.
Lord give them all a good nights rest and to awaken refreshed by your touch. We ask these things in you Son's precious name.Amen
