God is God!

There are simply no words to really thank the hundreds, if not thousands, of people praying for us and for Kyle. We will never be able to properly describe our thanks and appreciation for the prayers, the emotional support, the acts of kindness, and the blessings we have received from the family of God over the past few weeks. And, while the road is hard, God is with us! God is working to heal Kyle. God has provided for our needs. God is faithful. God is God!

Today, has been a better day for Kyle. The dialysis seems to be working more efficiently today. However, the swelling remains unchanged. They have been able to wean Kyle off some of his medications, which is encouraging as well. We look forward to making more steps in his recovery this week. Please continue to pray for those who work with Kyle. May the Lord impart wisdom to the doctors and nurses who care for Kyle. Pray that this week will be full of good news as God works each day to heal and restore Kyle's physical strength. Thank you again for praying. Thank you for letting us know you have visited this blog by leaving comments for us to read on days when we are so tired. God is faithful. God is God!

"I lift my eyes to the hills-where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth."
Psalm 123:1-2

HH lawn matters are taken care of. Last night I wrote a comment and of course it was deleted as I tried to post it. Not sure what I did!! WEll it's a new week and one that the Lord is ready to tackle for you guys. We will be praying for wisdom for all of Kyle's caregivers that they will be attentive to all of his needs. That the rest you all get will be multiplied many times over. That as Kyle continues to heal that his little body will respond in positive steps.

Our God is good ALL the time. Even though we are in the midst of this storm and rocked by the waves, which do swell hard and then, blessedly, recede, we must remember, that although we are hard pressed on every side, God is after the entire victory, not just one or two battles, but the ENTIRE victory! Hold strong then to your faith, dear family. God is still and ALWAYS in control!

    Steve and Shiloh,
Amy told me about Kyle's blog and emailed me the link to it this morning. Baby Kyle is so precious. He looks adorable in his pictures. Now Billy and I will keep up with his progress daily. Kyle is in our thoughts and prayers. We also put yall on our prayer list at our church.
    Love,
    Billy & Stephanie Schrimsher

  6. Your entire family is in my thoughts everyday. I have a four and a half month old baby boy at home and I will catch myself holding him a little tighter or kissing him a few more times and thinking of baby Kyle. I pray that soon you are able to snuggle and hold him and soak in the light that will undoubtedly shine from your little boy. Go Kyle Go! I am inspired by your strength and I hope you feel the love that is flowing your way from all of your friends and family as well as those you have never met, including myself, that now think of you as family. Take strength from each step forward and I pray that the steps back will be fewer as time goes by.
    Your friend,
    Jamie Wood

  7. Lord we wait upon you today. We put our hope in Your Word that You would fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit and wash away all anxiety or doubt. Amen.
Consider it all joy, my brethen, when you encounter various trials,
knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
    James 1: 2-4
Steve and Shiloh, as each day comes you continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
    Love,
    Dianne

  8. Shiloh,
We have begun to pray for Kyle today as a family. We love you and our prayer is that the Lord holds Kyle and your family in His hands. That He sustains you as only He can. We pray for his quick recovery and we ask that the Holy Spirit intercedes on your behalf for needs that only you and He know.

    Romans 8:26

26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

    We love you!

How powerful are our prayers!!!! God loves it whenever His children pray and the mountains will tremble at very mention of His name. Thank you Jesus for holding onto this precious baby when His Mommy & Daddy can't. What a wonder the 'unseen' world truly is whenever God's angels and Christ Himself are present and we cannot 'see' them?! Help us to continue to fight the good fight as Steve & Shiloh's brothers and sisters in Christ. May we continue to interceed through the Holy Spirit on their behalf for Kyle's strength to grow stronger & stronger each day. May his weak days only be a 'delay' in His healing process. You, our Abba Father are LORD and your power does prevail all things! Amen*
