A Special Prayer Request...
Well, we got a little spoiled the last few days. And, while today was not a "bad" day, Kyle is retaining fluid once again and his blood pressure has not been as high as the doctors would like. The low blood pressure is not good for his kidneys. And, his kidney function impacts his fluid levels. Needless to say, it is not easy to be in this cycle once again. And, so we are asking you to pray specifically for wisdom for the doctors as they work with Kyle. Also, please pray a special prayer for Steve and Shiloh. They are exhausted. Kyle is seven weeks old and the road ahead looks very long. We know God is at work. We know God is on His throne. We know He hears our prayers! Thank you for praying. Thank you for loving us through this time.

Steve and Shiloh
ReplyDeletePaul encourages us to stand... after having done everything we know to do... just stand. Stand on the promises because He who promised is Faithful.
Even though people have climbed the highest mountains, there are times during their ascent where they must travel "down-hill" in order to keep climbing higher. This is what we're believing for Kyle. That this may seem like you're taking 3 steps forward and 2 steps back... it's STILL progressing and moving upward.
No heavyweight fighter ever won the world championship without getting their nose broken... As it is with that... so it is with this... The fight's still on and Kyle WILL win through the power of Almighty God.
We will continue to pray for YOU both and for Kyle.
Be blessed in the assurance of His love for you and for Kyle.

Praying that Kyle will regain his strength and that God will heal him and allow him to come home soon. I can't imagine what you (Steve and Shiloh) are going through - I will continue praying for strength and endurance.
ReplyDeleteSomtimes is hard not to be discouraged by things men say. But, is men who have a very cloudly limited view of things, not our Lord.
ReplyDeleteIt is our Lord who is all knowing, not man.
It was God who spoke and it came to be, not man. It was our Lord who said to have the a faith of a little child. Knowing they do not undersatnd all things. It is God who said.
Be still and know I am God. Psalm 46:10
