Kyle is two months old today. He continues to loose fluid at a great pace. The doctors have continually upped his doses of milk, to the point that they turned off his TPN's (intravenous nutrients) today. Dr. Tam (heart surgeon) came by today and removed his last chest drainage tube and removed some stitches from his chest and stomach. His swelling is still refusing to subside, though he looks smaller just because of fewer hoses and equipment hanging from his little body. Overall, another great day in the right direction for baby Kyle. To God be the glory!

come before his presence with singing. Ps.100:1-2
    Praise Him! Praise Him!
    Tell of His excellent greatness.

Life should never be taken for granted. Each day is a priceless gift from God and should be treated as such.
Hannah Whitall Smith observed, "How changed our lives would be if we could only fly through the days on wings of surrender and trust!" And Clement of Alexandria noted, " All our life is a celebration for us; we are convinced, in fact, that God is always everywhere. We sing while we work....we pray while we carry out all life's other occupations." These words remind us that this day is God's creation, a gift to be treasured and savored.
Today, let us celebrate life with smiles on our faces and kind words on our lips. After all, this is God's day, and He has given us clear instructions for its use. We are commanded to rejoice and be glad. So, with no further ado, let the celebration begin....
Dear Lord, Help us to celebrate the small steps forward for sweet baby Kyle. Help us to recognize your handiwork in all things. WE pray for the medicine to work in double time so that the healing from it will come quickly and that the swelling will subside. Lord we know that your plan is perfect we just get anxious for Kyle to be held by his mom and dad and big sister and everyone else that knows him!! Lord, Rita says it best "We just want him well". Please be with Kyle's team as they plan his course each day. Father we thank you for your love for us and for your Son. Amen
    Love you guys, the mcgregors

  4. I can't even imagine all that God is doing through this tiny baby boy. He is working and changing so many lives that we don't even know about. As we trust Him for today just know that many are at your side and you are not going through this time alone. I love you both and your sweet family. Keep the faith and rest in His arms today. One day at a time....it's the only way to live our lives. Love, Glennis

  8. Wonderful news! To God be the glory, great things He has done. And, I know He will continue to do great things for Kyle and his sweet family. What a joy it is to read the posts and see Kyle's progress. Thank you for your transparency on this blog. We know there will be good days and bad days, and it helps to know when the two of you are struggling, so we can know exactly how to pray. We will weep when you weep, and we will rejoice when you rejoice. It's great to rejoice with you today because of Kyle's continued progress!! You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

  9. We have comitted to praying for baby kyle as a family each night after reading your blog. I know what a comfort it is to know your brothers and sisters in christ are praying. God does hear your cries and he has baby kyle in his hands, just be patient and wait for his miracle. God will provide all your needs. Don't neglect yourselves-you need to rest so you can be strong for kyle. The LORD IS ABLE to do exceedingly more than we ask or think.
Ephesians 3:16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will give you mighty inner strength through his holy spirit.

    Love, The Hartmans
