Kyle has had a little bit better day. He is negative on his fluids, which helps with the swelling. They removed one of his drainage tubes. He is back on his feeding schedule, and he went down on both of his blood pressure medications. He continues to have alot of swelling.

We will be meeting with the team of doctors who are caring for Kyle. We will have the opportunity to ask questions and find out what the game plan is for Kyle. Please pray for us that the meeting will go well. God is good and still on His throne.

  2. So glad to hear that the day went a little better.
We continue to pray for sweet baby Kyle and for his healing and for you as you have this meeting today. We pray for wisdom and divine intervention for the staff and that the Holy Spirit will intercede for us when we don't know how to pray.

Lay your hurts at his nail-pierced feet-and just trust Him because He loves even you!

  5. Go GOD Go!!! Heal this little one, and bring him home with his precious family soon. Lord, we know you delight in your little children. Be with Kyle every step of his journey. Help Steve and Shiloh to place him at the foot of your alter each and every day. Help them to trust in you for healing and protection. Give them patience and grace to face each day, and give them a faith that doesn't waiver despite circumstances. Please, please watch over them, and may they know that your people are interceding on their behalf daily. May your Holy Spirit comfort them. Please send Godly medical staff their direction who will understand the healing power you possess. Place Godly people in their path who will speak words of comfort and encouragement. Squelch anyone who would try to bring about discouragement. Be with Steve as he leads his family. Help him to continue to be a rock and spiritual leader for his family. Bless him, O Lord, I pray. Help Shiloh as her tender heart breaks for her baby. Help her to balance caring for Abigail and taking care of Kyle. Help her to not give up hope. Help her to embrace each day with grace. Be with Abigail as she goes back and forth from Glen Rose and the hospital. Help her to understand, and teach her more about Yourself each day. Lord, hold this family in your arms. When they feel like giving up, help them know you are constantly on your throne. Nothing happens to Kyle without your permission, and we entrust him to you. Amen

  6. Dear Lord
Be with the doctors as they make decisions about all of Kyle's medical needs. Give them the wisdom and power they need as they take care of Kyle. Be with Shiloh and Steve. Give them the strength to face each day and the challenges it brings. Help their faith and love for You only grow stronger during this time. Be with Abigail as she sees the struggles her parents are going through and does not completely understand. Be with all the care providers that work with Kyle each day. Help them to be compassionate and wise in all they do. Lord, we love You and we know You are in control. Help us to continue to trust You in all that we face each day. Be with this sweet, sweet family and watch over them.
    Amen

  7. As I was thinking and praying for you this evening, this old hymn came to my mind. The verses go like this:
Standing on the promises of Christ my King,
Thru eternal ages let His praises ring,
Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing,
I'm standing on the promises of God.

Standing on the promises that cannot fail,
When the howling storms of doubt and fear as-sail,
By the living Word of God I shall prevail,
I'm standing on the promises of God.

Standing of the promises I now can see,
    Perfect, present cleansing in the blood for me;
Standing in the liberty where Christ makes free,
I'm standing on the promises of God.

Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord,
Bound to Him eternally by love's strong cord,
Overcoming daily with the Spirit's sword,
I'm standing on the promises of God.

Standing on the promises, I cannot fall,
List'ning every moment to the Spirit's call,
Resting in my Savior, as my all in all,
I'm standing on the promises of God.

Help us Lord to continue to stand on Your promise. I pray today went well with the doctors

    Love,
    Diann
