Thursday Night

Kyle threw up some of his milk Wednesday night and Thursday morning, so they took him off for a while, and now have him at half the dose that he was on.

  5. God has said,"Where two or more are gathered togethr in my name there will I be also." That is a constant where you are. God is there. He sees, He knows, He has a purpose. You never know whose lives have been changed because you are there. I don't mean to minimize the hurt you are feeling; I am just tring to remind you (as if you needed it) that God is not letting this time go to waste. He is working, not onlyl in your lives but in the lives of those with whom you come into contact. Sleep peacefully, pray with assurity, know that many are praying for you. Rest in God's promise. Remember that we here at home love you and are praying for you.

  7. It’s not a question of belief…those of us who are praying for a miracle KNOW that God DOES perform miracles. It’s not a question of desire…there can’t be any baby that is more wanted or more loved. It’s not a question of quality care…Steve and Shiloh have proved themselves to be Godly parents. Raising Abigail in the knowledge and love of the Lord and giving her a privileged lifestyle with so much love. So my question is this: If we truly DO know that God CAN heal this little boy; he is SO wanted, SO loved and has SUCH trustworthy parents and grandparents… why in the world wouldn’t God choose to heal him? We are God’s children; the faith is there; we’ve definitely been asking and pleading for his life; we believe in the power of God. What ingredient is missing? I’ve heard stories about people in the same hard place who were at their wit’s end and finally just gave up and were able to completely release their child into God’s hands. Many of them were then healed. Some were taken to heaven and the families had the peace that passes understanding. Maybe that’s what God is waiting for now. We say “Thy will be done” but do we REALLY mean it? Is there still that fear that “His will” means that we must let baby Kyle die? That we must actually let him go, and trust God with him out of our sight? I don’t know the answer. I wish I did. My heart is breaking for everyone involved. It may be one of those mysteries that we won’t have an answer for until we get to heaven. I just don’t know. What I DO know is that I will continue to pray and praise God and beg for Kyle’s complete healing. That’s what I can do as a bystander and as one who loves this family to pieces. My heart is with you all.

  9. Tara,
Father God may You show Your power and greatness; show Glen Rose and the rest of the world that you are Jehova Rohpi, the God who heals. May You make Your Name great in doing so. Father we know and acknowledge that if You so choose not to heal this child Your great Name will be no less. We know and acknowledge that You and You alone are the only sovereign God. Who are we to say what should be and not be done? We are but whispers or as Isaiah wrote, we are not drops in a bucket, nor dust on the scales in comparison to who You are. In fact LORD we agree that we are not only nothing before you but less than nothing. Who are we to cry out against You? Father we however come before you pleading for the life of this dear child. We also cry out to you to give the parents of this little one wisdom in how to deal with their upside down world. Give them strength to handle this sad situation in a way that honors You. Lord thank You for this life. Thank You for you goodness and kindness in letting the family of this precious one be able to joy in the life that you have given. In Your Sons great and holy name, Amen

  10. Sorry, the last prayer was from Mike Lee, who had asked me to post it on the blog because he was unable. Please disregard the "Tara,..." greeting.

    Thanks,

  16. Dear Father, if it be your will, we pray that Kyle will be made whole. I believe Father, with my whole heart, if it be your will you can make Kyle whole in the blink of the eye or in a time you designate. Be with Steve and Shiloh this night give them peace and rest. 17. Dear Lord, I pray that you give Shiloh, Steve, Abigal, Brent, Jeanne, Margaret and Dwin the strength and energy to do what needs to be done to carry out your will for Kyle. We pray that they will continue to have the strength to be ever vigilant over his bed and in that hospital waiting room. Thank you Lord for their unwavering spirit and witness to those of us that would have never been able to withstand all that they have been through.

Each and every one of you are a testament to God's grace and faith for our lives. We love you so very much and our hearts ache for you more than you will ever know. The girls and I pray for you continuously and wish that we could take your worry and pain from you, but we cannot. Therefore, we pray that God will continue to bathe Kyle in his glory and love and we pray for his healing that we know that only God can accomplish.

We will praise His name forever...

  18. I am praying for you and Kyle. My prayer is that all of you gain the strength and comfort you need while Kyle is so ill. You are correct, God is graceful, he is good and he will heal all of your pain. I am praying that you feel his embrace as you struggle through this trying time.
